About Our Instructors
If you are considering attending Karate classes, it's important you know who will be teaching you.
Here at Cornwall Karate, all lessons are primarily led by one (or more) of the three instructors featured below; Kevin Cooke (4th Dan), Andrew Chellew (2nd Dan) and Annie Thomas (1st Dan).

As well as holding Instructor/Coaching Certification, all three instructors have many years of experience in Karate.
All of our Instructors hold Public Liability insurance and Professional Indemnity insurance, and are checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service (now known as a "DBS-check", but often incorrectly referred to as a "CRB-check" or "Police check" by many people).
Whilst all of that is important, we know that "paper qualifications" aren't everything. Luckily, our team of instructors are also kind, friendly, and will inspire you to achieve your best. Providing you are a person of good character, they'll teach you to the very best of their ability... all that is asked is for you to demonstrate your interest through commitment (by attending classes regularly, and reinforcing this with practice at home), and by showing effort and spirit in your training.
