Test your skills in our friendly, welcoming competition. This competition is particularly suitable for students with little or no competition experience, however there are also categories for more advanced student, too.
The competition will be split into separate classes (according to age and/or height and/or grade) to ensure fairness.
We will run according to WKF rules, but keeping everything very relaxed.
Please note that this event will take place at Penzance Leisure Centre, St Clare Street, Penzance, TR18 3QW.
All competitors must be wearing a white gi.
Competitors wishing to compete in kumite MUST have hand mitts, gum shield and shin/instep pads. These can either be WKF-style pads, or the more traditional white elasticated cloth pads will also be allowed.
We will be STRICTLY enforcing the rules relating to contact. Adults may make light contact, and cadets may make skin-touch head contact and no body contact.
IMPORTANT: Spaces at this competition are limited. When you book a space, we guarantee your place and at the same time somebody else is potentially prevented from attending. As such, we regret that we are unable to issue a refund or credit for non-attendance.
